We value the necessity for expositional preaching of the Scriptures, word by word, verse by verse.
We value teaching the Bible, word by word, verse by verse, using the inductive method which asks the questions, "What does it say?" What does it mean?" "How does it apply?"
We consider the Context of the text, the historical background to the text, the language of the text, before we consider the meaning and application of the text. We are also aware that all Scripture is about Christ.
We understand that all Christians are sent by the Lord to "go and make disciples of all nations." Evangelism is strongly encouraged by the Lord and also by the leaders at BECC. We regularly participate in Bridging the Bridge, which is an initiative at BCC to corporately evangelise.
Our women's ministry is not only about fellowship and fun, but primarily about growing and maturing as women of God. There are a number events that provide for our women to fellowship and mature.
Our men's ministry meet on a quarterly basis for mutual encouragement, teaching and fellowship.
Our children's ministry runs every Sunday morning, following communion, during the school term. We value the necessity for our children to be grounded in the Word of God.
